There are three models: Vigor2760, Vigor2760n (with IEEE 802.11n WLAN), and Vigor2760Vn (with VoIP and IEEE 802.11n WLAN). With IPv6 Ready for future network and higher-speed WAN throughput, the high-definition multi-media streaming is available for home entertainment and digital learning. The embedded VoIP and VPN connections can allow family members to utilize ultimate broadband performance to realize home office. The MAC access control, multiple-SSID, authentication management on WLAN creates much secure wireless network. The users of your connected PCs can use Web Portal Log-in and Bulletin Board to remind each other. The content security management (CSM) prevents your family or home office from unwanted web sites/access.
You can connect VDSL2/ADSL2+ line directly to the VDSL2/ADSL2+ port of Vigor2760. You can configure LAN Port4 as Ethernet WAN port to feed Ethernet-based Internet connections, such as cable modem or ADSL modem. You enable “WAN2” on the WUI of General Setup of WAN and then the LAN Port4 will become your WAN port into which you can connect to your Ethernet feed such as cable modem or ADSL modem. The other 3 Gigabit LAN ports (LAN 1 to LAN 3) remain available for normal LAN activity. However, you can not have Ethernet WAN and VDSL2/ADSL2 enabled at the same time. If the Ethernet WAN 2 is enabled, the VDSL2/ADSL2+ port is disabled (and vice versa).
